I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about the concept of merging old and new photographs together and to have the combined image then printed onto a slate, but I definitely made the right decision to go along with the transaction. I was a little scared because the proofs they kept sending did not look quite right but they let me know that the proofs would look less natural than the actual painting itself and they were right. Initially, the artwork that was sent to us was not satisfactory and I had a lot of issues. But after talking to a customer service representative and expressing my concerns, the final portrait we received was beautiful. Make sure you are satisfied before the painting begins. The staff is patient and will do whatever it takes to make your portrait everything you have dreamed of. My mother replaced the portrait that has sat on her mantle for 15 years with the new portrait. And when her siblings saw the portrait, they all loved it and wanted the information to get one for themselves. The joy in my mom’s eyes was worth every penny. I would definitely do this again. I eventually photoshopped my own photo and it seemed to help with the process so just be weary of that! This was our 2nd portrait. The First went so smoothly, we did not hesitate to order the 2nd. The Artist who did the first was not available, and the artist assigned the second had a very different style. We requested many changes and even had to call to get someone to address our requests - we were getting proofs back that had not been changed. Finally, we approved the painting and it shipped. When we received it - there were still many issues - and we were not happy since it did not look like the digital version we approved. When I expressed our displeasure with the final product - your ROCKSTAR customer service reached out - and made good on the entire order - they had it repainted by another artist - and the result was much better!
